The NHL goal predictor picks high value hockey scores and player props, but it cannot predict the future. This is why our favorite way to bet on the picks is by using what we refer to as the 3x2 Round Robin bet.
By betting four units across four bets a bettor can still make money via this method if one out of three of their selected legs misses. The best part is the bettor is still able to claim a large payout when each leg is a success.
Let's use, for example, three goal scorers each priced at +200 and a bettor who uses $10 units. One unit is wagered on each combination of two goal scorers in a round robin and one unit is wagered on the combination of all three goal scorers in a standard three leg parlay. If the bettor were to simply wager all units on a three leg parlay the return would be $1040 but require no legs to miss. By allowing the bet to miss one leg (and mitigating risk of total loss by more than 30%!) the bettor could still double the initial wager and return $80. If all legs are successful the 3x2 bet returns $500. This is an excellent way to hedge a bankroll for the entire season while still including significant winning potential.
To view this strategy in action we are proud to introduce a parlay calculator specifically designed for this method. The 3x2 Round Robin parlay calculator powered by the NHL Goal Predictor.
